this could be the end

okay so i officially suck at blogging. and its going to get real bad because 1. i dont have a computer 2. we cant afford internet 3. wedding, packing, farming- lots going on. so ill just give a summary of whats been going on and whats to come.

past.....we found a duplex to live in. its adorable, cozy, and perfect for us!!!we can move in in a week. which means i need to get my shit together, fast. the house is in the best neighborhood. so cute, and close to all the places we hang out. couldnt ask for anything better.

rachie came to see me this weekend and informed me of the best news ever...SHES MOVING HERE IN JULY--THATS ONLY 12 WEEKS AWAY. i almost peed my pants when she told me. i think my words were "HOLY SMOKES, I JUST PEED MY PANTS"i need my rachie. its going to be tough to go home to ryan when rachie lives down the street. hahaha just jokin. when 2 out of the 5 peps on my "favorite people in the world list" are in the same city with me--thats just damn good.

future.....more importantly i just cant wait to see everyone. only 3 weeks away. once again i need to get my shit together.there's going to be so many emotions running through my body. seeing all of my fav peps, marrying the man i have always loved, having everyone there to celebrate. i mean im tearing up thinking about it. so please excuse the hysterical balling during the ceremony and the many hives that will be all over my body. its going to be perfect. if things go wrong during the wedding. who gives a shit. we will still be married and you all better still come to party. there will be no leaving early. if im very short with you its only because id rather be dancing than talking, so heres an idea if you want to talk to the bride you have to dance with her. i love being demanding!!its the bride-zilla inside of me talking-not me.

once again i cant wait to see everyone. party of the year.i mean food-good, beer-good, wine-good, cake-even better, and dancing-whats not to like? i love you all and miss you even more.until then

day of rest

so as some of you know i have been sick for over a month now. im too cheap to go to the doctor (aka no health insurance) and i have a firm belief that i had walking pneumonia for about a week. it was getting so bad that my boss banned me from answering the phones because the voice on the other end would always say "gosh miss hanna you dont sound so good" and considering i work with children, my boss thought it would be a wise decision to give me a day off!!! so i got to sleep in, sort of, my internal alarm woke me up at 9. hey but i take what i can.

so day of rest turned into errand day. but i got to do it with ryan so it was tons of fun!! first stop, SPRINT STORE, yeah hanna got a new cell plan and phone. i got a new number and im not going to post it all over in internet, so here is what you need to do. CALL MY OLD NUMBER AND GET IT OFF THE MACHINE. sorry for the inconvenience.

then, ryan and i got a lot of wedding stuff done because we have been slackers lately.
and I NEED YOUR HELP. let me set the scene...outdoor wedding, at 5:30, in a pasture, obviously non traditional, real and rustic. got the picture? okay here is the dilemma. i want the groom and groomsmen to wear linen pants (ralph lauren-they are killer) and a white shirt with a blue tie to match the bridesmaids, but no jacket. is this a problem???its too expensive to buy jacket and pants. and you cant rent linen anywhere. and i want the guys to be comfortable. i feel like tuxes are too traditional and will look funny with the rest of the wedding. so i need to know what you think.HELP ME HELP ME HELP ME!! if we go with the linen we need to pass the word on for the guest not to wear jackets, so they are not more dressed up than the groomsmen. casual casual casual, i mean we are getting married on a farm, come on!!!

rockstar weekend

so im a first timer band aid this weekend. our journey started in birmingham at the scarest bar i have ever been in in my life. seriously the bathroom had a huge hole in the floor and then what appeared to be a toilet, and i didnt know which one to use. i actually felt as if i were to try and wash my hands i would actually get dirtier.the guys rocked it out and it was a montgomery reunion to the extreme. the neils, lombardis, woods, alison mann--What??? and some others i havent seen in a while. it was great!!and now im sitting in the hotel lobby in t-town!!the life of a roadie, its kinda fun, if you can get over the inappropriate guy talk to where i have to use ear muffs through 3/4 of the conversation. but here is the really good part of being with guys who care about their image...THEY LOVE TO SHOP!!!! its great, i was scared to mention the word "mall" but once i did they were all hooked, amazing!!!so hopefully ill make it through the night and live to tell more funny stories tomorrow. my advice to all...be a band-aid at least for one weekend of your life, just for the experiences!!

Barry Manalow

okay so this is the extent of my friday night... sitting on the couch watching dancing with the stars, but its not just any episode there is a special guest. thats right, you guessed it, Barry Manalow. ok so im a little disappointed because i have always thought that the great barry manalow was this big black soul singer. man was i wrong. he is a skinny white pointy nose old man. oh never mind, i just remembered who i was thinking about Barry White, now that a big black soul singer. ok so i just answered my own question. i guess this is what blogging helps you do.

sorry for the random blog, but its been so long since i blogged that i didnt feel like recapping on the past month or so. just know that this past month rocked!!!christmas, cali, hot lanta, and la fiesta. what more could you ask for?? it was so good to see everyone at the shower. i cant believe everyone traveled to come support me and ryan. yep we really do have the best friends and family!!

so, its really hard not to eat all the goodies that im baking.

a little ahead of my game

so the weather man lied to us. i have been waiting paitently for snow for the past 2-3 weeks and no signs of any yet. i feel like snow would justify the reason i cant feel my fingers anymore, but no its just that cold. on another note. i feel really lame for talking about the weather so much, but seriously i had expectations. and ive been let down.

a real white christmas!!!

so i know im not that far north but supposedly we are going to have snow tonight!!real snow!!and i think it might be the kind that actually sticks to the ground!!it already sticks to my car and i have to defrost it for 20 minutes every morning. i need to buy an ice scraper thingy. who knew that is so important? ITS GOING TO BE A WHITE CHRISTMAS WOO HOO!!! and im really proud of our christmas tree decor...its all EDIBLE. you can eat all the ornaments. my special surprise person all the way from atl helped me and milwee string popcorn, make icicles out of dots and hang candy canes. but the topper takes the cake. $1.99 multi-colored star that lights up. absolutely amazing. breath taking if you will. and thanks to mark and ryan for making a diaster in our den. i keep finding popcorn in my shoes and in all the furniture!!!so heres to hoping for snow.

ps...sorry for the long pause of blogging. i broke my computer. go figure right? dropped the dang thing right on its side. whoops. so we are all sharing one comp-thanks court!
